I make films sound like they feel — building sonic architecture that holds a story together from the inside out.

Based in Seoul, I founded TukTuk Studio after over a decade working across Korean independent cinema, international co-productions, and documentary film. My practice spans the full post-production pipeline: from production dialogue salvage and foley design through to final theatrical and streaming mixes.

I believe great sound design is invisible in the best possible sense — it creates a world you inhabit rather than observe. My approach starts with listening: to the edit, to the director's instincts, to the specific emotional register each scene demands. From that foundation, I build.

TukTuk Studio has developed a reputation for handcrafted, meticulous sound work that serves story above spectacle — though when spectacle is the story, we can do that too. The studio works with emerging directors and established filmmakers equally, drawn by projects with something genuine to say.
